  • Junior 3D Artist at LuminousXR

    Upon graduating my Masters Degree in 3D Games Art, I had started working for LuminousXR as a Junior 3D Artist. In this role, I worked in Blender to model, optimise and texture 3D assets to be used in Unity Engine for standalone (Meta Quest 3) VR training simulation resources for company clients.

    These were often VR resources for Health and Safety training around heavy machinery, as well as educational resources on outer and inner workings of heavy machinery and liquid tanks. For example:

    - Oil and gas terminals;

    - Individual machines and vehicles;

    - Office and indoor spaces.

    During my employment with LuminousXR, I worked in the following software:

    - Blender (3D modelling and optimising);

    - Adobe Substance Painter (Baking and texturing for a PBR workflow);

    - Adobe Substance Designer (For the rare use in creating individual roughness maps and resources that I could use in projects.

    - Unity Engine 2020, 2022 and v6.

    - GitHub (Source/Version Control)

    - Atlassian Jira (Agile workflow, using Jira for knowing my bi-weekly sprint tasks, as well as marking them when complete).

    I worked with DINK as an intern 3D Artist, as part of my Work Placement module within my Masters degree in 3D Games Art.

    I was tasked with creating assets for DINK's internal IP: "Dutch Maximus: Out of the Toybox", implementing all created assets into Unreal Engine.

    During this role, I had worked in:

    - Blender (3D modelling and optimising);

    - Adobe 3D Substance Painter, (baking and texturing in a PBR workflow)
